Water damage, whether caused by heavy storms, flash floods, hurricanes, or leaky pipes, can range from mild to severe. The longer building materials or goods are exposed to wet conditions, the more potential there is for deadly mold and mildew to develop, and the more hazardous the situation becomes. 
Some water damage situations, such as sewage backups and toilet overflows, can create severe odor problems on top of the water damage that will require professional restoration to resolve. Of course, safety is always AGI’s primary concern on any water damage job, whether it’s classified as clean water (class 1), mild gray water (class 2) or severe black water (class 3). Temperature and relative humidity are monitored to remove the excess moisture. AGI uses specialized equipment including commercial grade air movers and industrial grade refrigerant dehumidifiers to remove water retained by building materials and other hard-to-access moisture. We carefully monitor the progress using moisture meters until the materials return to acceptable drying goals.
